Week 3: Day 3

Prep A, B and D started school with a lesson about First Aid. It was a story of a Teddy bear who was helping his friend who fell off the monkey bars. They learnt that D is for Danger (to look around, listen and smell what can be dangerous in the environnement to protect themselves and others), then, R is for Response (to call the name of the person they are helping and sqeeze twice his/her shoulders) and at least, S is for Send (to shout HELP !!! and to call 000).

It was really interesting and at the end students had to answer a little quizz to check if they were listenning and they received a medal (First Aid Hero)

The rest of the day, prep A did Literacy about the sounds "ai" and "ay". Then, I did a Numeracy lesson about 10 friends and how to play the Top 10 game and the Memory game. In the afternoon, thay had a French lesson of words about boat and pirates and how to draw a pirate's boat. 

At the end of the day, when prep A was doing physical education, I went in Year 5 (CM2) to look at their writing about SLAM.
