Week 2: Day 4

Today, our New Caledonian collegues, Ludmilla and Mickaël, went to our school. We had a visit of the school with Caroline (French Manager). We saw classroons of different year, the well-being room for kids who can't control their behaviour and need to relax and focus more on their feelings and the beautiful library. 

During recess we shared a morning tea.  

In the afternoon, we had a meeting with Gerard about Mathematics and the way they are adapting the French and the Victorian curriculum from prep to year 6 (6ème). He also gave us their method based on Peter Sullivan's books. 

The last meeting of the day with Emilie was about the Victorian curriculum in literacy from prep to year 6. We discovered a new website with beautiful pictures to work on language, vocabulary and writing short descriptions.
