Day 5 : End of the first working week.

Second day at Camberwell Primary School. We started with classroom observations. I was in foundation first. In this level, French is speaking and teaching 80% of time and English only 20%. 

This is Year 1. Students were writing a story about the zoo using noums, verbs and adjectives in French. I was so impressed because there were doing it so easily. 

This is Year 2. There were correcting some maths exercices in French. Most of the teachers are Canadians. 

This is Year 3. It was a lesson with the Sciences teacher specialist in French. Students were coding some chemicals stuff on "Scratch app" to have solid, liquid and gas status. 

In the afternoon, we had 3 presentations: 

One presentation about the CPS Bilingual Approach with Olivia Latrache (Learning Specialist) focusing on Inquiry, French Gramar.

A second one about Speaking Grid & Diagnostic assessment with Camille Davies (Learning Specialist)

The last one about the application of the Bilingual Approach in planning with Tim Hounsell (Learning Specialist)
